AI Processing Disclosure

Worth the Practice uses AI only to help organize preparation material you provide, generate practice interview questions grounded in confirmed job details and resume evidence, turn your own recorded practice answers into text, and generate coaching grounded in your transcripts and confirmed details.

Document organization: OpenAI receives contact-masked text from a resume or job description and returns structured details for you to review. Email addresses, phone numbers, links, and street addresses are replaced with redaction markers before sending. Names are not masked.

Interview planning: OpenAI receives the role and job details you confirmed, supporting quotes from your job description, the interview stage, confirmed details and supporting quotes from your resume, and question-planning instructions to generate practice interview questions grounded in those materials.

Transcription: OpenAI receives your practice recording and returns text. We do not ask it to label speakers or identify you. Your practice audio is scheduled for deletion 24 hours after you save it, with automated cleanup removing it shortly afterward and checking for overdue recordings every 15 minutes; long-term audio storage is not available.

Coaching: OpenAI receives your answer transcripts and the role and experience details you confirmed, then returns a coaching draft grounded in those materials.

Your Career Stories are not sent for AI processing. Your original resume or job-description file is not sent; only contact-masked extracted text is used for document organization.

Coaching does not receive raw audio, source files, or Career Stories. Transcription receives audio but not the profile materials used for coaching.

This provider description was reviewed against OpenAI's published API documentation on September 18, 2026. OpenAI states that API data is not used to train its models by default unless the API customer opts in. Worth the Practice has not opted in.

For relevant endpoints, OpenAI says abuse-monitoring logs may contain customer content and are retained for up to 30 days by default. Longer retention may occur when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect OpenAI's services or third parties from harm.

OpenAI currently documents its audio-transcription endpoint as having no abuse-monitoring retention and no application-state retention by default. Where an API request lets us turn response storage off, we do so.

For the OpenAI organization configured for this pilot, data-sharing controls are off. Worth the Practice has an executed data processing agreement with OpenAI. OpenAI's Zero Data Retention and Modified Abuse Monitoring controls require eligibility and approval; Worth the Practice does not claim either arrangement.

AI output can be incomplete or wrong. You review and decide what to use. We do not use AI for hidden or live interview assistance, hiring predictions, employability scores, employment guarantees, or analysis of personality, emotion, deception, accent, disability, or protected traits.

We do not use recordings to identify or authenticate you or to compare your voice with another recording. We do not train AI models on your material and do not sell or share it for advertising.
